History,Romance and Wine in the Surrey Hills

Join us on a lovely walk through idyllic English villages in the Surrey Hills and visit a family-run vineyard!

The circular walk starts at the historic town of Gomshall and leads through leads through Tillingbourne Valley and it’s idyllic villages , which were used as locations for romantic comedies. We will walk along the North Downs Way that offers spectacular scenery, picturesque villages and glorious countryside. The are is a designated Surrey Hills National Landscape, one of the most wooded landscapes in England.  We will visit  two churches and learn about their fascinating history and connection to London and Windsor.

During our walk we will get to know a small, family-run biodynamic vineyard located in the beautiful Surrey Hills, and taste their wine.

 

The walk is about 8 miles, make sure you wear walking boots and comfortable clothes.

What is included ?

Guided hike and church visits lead by a North Downs Way Ambassador and London Blue Badge tourist guide, HML trainee.

Tasting of 3 wines and a vineyard tour at a family-run organic vineyard
