Secret Gardens, Underground Treasures & Rooftops

Join us on this half-day walk through the City of London and discover its secrets.

It’s a city that was built throughout history layer by layer.  First the Romans, then the Anglo Saxons, Tudors and Stuarts and now our generation is still shaping this wonderful city. It had been burnt down, lost 15% of it’s population during the plague, bombed –  yet – it still stands proud and beautiful.

Juin us to explore the hidden ruins of the old Roman city, hear stories of secret gardens and pocket parks and how they help making London a greener more sustainable city,. Hear  stories of  important and lost churches. We will finish up on a high note with a drink at a roof-top bar of a sustainable building with wonderful views!

The tour starts at St Paul’s Cathedral and ends by Tower Hill.

The tour includes a visit to Guildhall Art Gallery and the Mithraeum
